Congratulations and sincere thanks are also offered to
ACT Handball for the successful hosting of the
event. It was great to see that a story on
the event was included in prime TV News on Saturday,
20 October by ABC
ACT TV News.
The Championship also provided an opportunity for male
players to showcase their handball skills for possible
selection in the Australian Men’s Squad to
compete in the 2008 Oceania World Championship
Qualifying Tournament. The winner of
this tournament will represent the Oceania Region
at the Men’s World Handball Championship to be
held in Croatia in January 2009.
