The competition will involve about 600 players from twenty four countries.  The year 2010 is the year of the White Tiger in oriental zodiac; hence the competition has Beko the White Tiger as its Mascot,  while its slogan is 'Do your BEST, Be the BEST'

The AHF has no doubt that the team will do its best in its participation and will benefit from the valuable experience from the competition.

The AHF wishes to acknowledge with appreciation the assistance by Sebastien Louis, previously of the Oceania Handball Federation, in making arrangements for the team’s stay in Seoul and for organising court time for the girls, through his contacts in Korea.
