The 17^th Women’s Junior World Championship being held in Korea during 17^th -31^st July involves twenty four countries.  The teams are divided in four groups based on a seeding arrangement. The Australian Women’s Junior Team is in Group C in the competition and will be playing against Hungary, Spain, Japan, Brazil and Thailand in the Preliminary Round.

 

The schedule of matches in the Preliminary Round for the Australian Women’s Junior Team is as follows:

Teams who are in the top twelve positions at the close of the Preliminary Round will progress to the Main Round with the rest of the teams competing in the President’s Cup.  These are subsequently followed by the Placement Match and Final Round.    

The Australian Women’s Junior Team has a tough draw; however there is no doubt that the team will play with its passion for handball and for representing Australia.  The AHF wishes the players and officials a successful and memorable participation.
