National Beach Handball Training

The National Beach Handball training and squad tryouts kicked off on Wednesday January 25 at 9am sharp with some fast paced drills and serious fitness work supervised by National Coaches Nanna Hedberg and Boris Mensing. The camp is being held on Wednesday and Thursday at St Kilda beach.  

Training at St Kilda Beach Melbourne for the Beach Handball National Teams

It will be followed by the Beach Handball Australian Championships from Friday to Sunday, again at St Kilda Beach. Club based teams from five States and New Zealand will participate. The schedule for Sunday January 29 also includes 2 games between New Zealand and Australian women for the Oceania place in the World Champisonshps to be held in Croatia mid-year.  These games are schduled for 9am Sunday and 1:45pm. The finals for the Australian Beach Handball Championships start at 2:45pm on Sunday.
