The
Australian Women’s Team is undertaking its final
preparation for the World Championship which will be
held during 3 – 13 December 2011 in Brazil.
Majority of the players and officials left from Sydney
on 20th November for Brazil, with the other
players joining them thereafter in the training camp.
The Team is staying in Campinas which is 120 km away
from
Sao Paulo
and is training in Liceu School which is providing the
court and gym. A number of friendly games with clubs in
Campinas, Americana and nearby cities have also been
arranged.

Australia which is in Group B of the competition will be
playing the Preliminary Round in Barueri. The schedule

After the Preliminary Round, the Team will be competing
in the President’s Cup and playing Placement game, the
venues for which are to be decided after the Preliminary
Round.
