The 2015 Handball Australia (HA) AGM will be held on Saturday, 2 May (starting from 2:30pm) at Sydney Olympic Park, in the new Sports House offices on Level 2, 8 Parkview Street.

The Oceania Continent Handball Federation held its Congress in Guam between October 23-24 at the Oceania Nations Olympic Committee office in Guam on October 23-24. The President of the IHF, Dr Moustafa attended the Congress and opened the proceedings. The meeting recognised the new body and asked the existing member nations to recognise and endorse the new member countries, now numbering 16 in total.
Overnight, Handball Australia has been made aware of the decision by the IHF Council to replace Australia with Germany for the upcoming 2015 World Championships in Qatar. Please follow the link below for the IHF announcement.
This weekend, at Sydney Olympic Park, Handball Australia held its AGM in conjunction with a Planning meeting, where state delegates, the Executive Committee and general members met to review the year that was, elect new board members and plan for the years ahead.
Long standing member of Handball Australia, Alex Gavrilovic (NSW) was elected as the new President of HA.
HA also welcomed to the board, former National Men;s team player and Queensland State representative, Todd Morschel to the board as as Ordinary Director.
